This profile of longtime newsreel cameraman Roy Tash features the following : Roy Tash describes his career-long hobby of collecting photographs of the famous people he has filmed, such as Winston Churchill. He shows some of the photographs and his scrapbooks of clippings about his career. Tash describes the equipment he has used over the years. Shown are clips of newsreels filmed by Tash, including sequences of the Dionne quintuplets, varioussports and a 1956 world tour by cabinet minister Paul Martin. The American-born Tash describes one of his earliest Canadian assignments, the filming of the funeral of Sir Wilfrid Laurier (February 22, 1919). He is shown on the job filming present-day stories and meeting John Diefenbaker and Lester Pearson. (site web ANC)
